Why we built this
Student's Corner, by kihikila
School teaches you subjects. It rarely teaches you how to choose a stream, write a resume, face an interview, manage your first pocket money, or deal with exam stress. Student's Corner is our attempt to put those things in one place.
The problem we kept seeing
Students end up working these things out alone: scattered across a dozen websites, buried under ads and sign-up walls, or based on what a relative or a friend of a friend once said. The questions are real and the stakes are high, such as which branch to take, which exam to prepare for, how to write to a recruiter, and where to turn when things feel like too much. Good answers shouldn't be this hard to find.
What you will find here
Tools and guides in six areas, each built to be used in a few minutes:
- Figure out your path
- Land the job
- Study smarter
- Life admin & money
- Health & you
- School stuff
What we try to stick to
- Honest, not hypedCareer pages show the trade-offs, not just the glamour. The branch quiz matches you to what fits how you think, not just to the highest cut-off.
- Official sources, not stale listsExam dates, scholarships, past papers and internships link to the real official portals. These change often, so we point you to the source instead of copying it and letting it go out of date.
- No sign-up, no accountsYou don't need to log in or give us an email. What you type into the tools stays in your own browser. See the Privacy Policy.
- Straight answers on sensitive topicsHealth and sex education are written factually and without shame, with real helplines. We say clearly when something needs a doctor or counsellor, not a webpage.
- Original practice materialAptitude and quiz questions are written for practice. They are not copies of real exam papers, and the pages say so.
How the site is paid for
Student's Corner is free to use. To help keep it running, some pages show ads from Google. There are no ads on the Health & You page. If an ad ever gets in your way, scroll past it; every tool works without clicking anything.
What this site is not
It is a starting point, not a substitute for a teacher, a doctor, a counsellor or an official notification. Always check important details with the official source. Read more in our Terms & Conditions.
