The short version: Student's Corner is free general guidance, not professional advice. Check anything important (exam dates, fees, helplines, health questions) with an official source or a qualified person before you act on it.

1. Accepting these terms

By using Student's Corner (the "site"), run by kihikila, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you are under 18, please read these with a parent or guardian.

2. What the site is

The site offers free tools and information for students, including a resume maker, quizzes, career and course guides, study tools, money and life-skills guides, health and wellbeing information, and school-related templates and calculators. It is provided for general information and education only.

3. Not professional advice

Career, course and college information is a starting point. Cut-offs, fees, eligibility, exam patterns and dates change often. Always confirm on the official website of the exam body, board, college or government portal.
Quiz and aptitude results (such as the Branch & Stream Finder) are suggestions to help you think. They are not a prediction or a guarantee about your future.
Health, sex education and mental health content is general education. It is not medical or psychological advice, a diagnosis, or a replacement for a doctor or counsellor. If something feels urgent, talk to a doctor, counsellor or trusted adult. In an emergency, call 112.
Helpline numbers were checked when written but can change. If a number does not work, search for the organisation's official site.
Money, budgeting and scholarship information is general and is not financial or legal advice.
Practice questions are original practice material, not real exam papers, and may contain mistakes. They are not affiliated with any exam body.
Letter and document templates are examples. Adapt them to your school's or employer's own requirements.

4. Your content and your device

What you enter in the tools stays in your browser (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for what you write and for checking your resume, letters and other output for accuracy before you use or submit them. Because data is saved only on your device, we cannot recover it if it is lost or cleared, so keep your own copy of anything important (for example, download your resume as a PDF).

5. Using the site fairly

Please do not:

copy, scrape or republish large parts of the site, or sell it as your own;
try to break, overload or hack the site;
use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others;
click on ads in order to inflate their numbers, or ask others to do so.

You are welcome to link to the site and to use the tools for your own personal, non-commercial study and career use.

6. Ads

The site may show advertisements served by Google. We do not choose or endorse the advertisers, and we are not responsible for ads, or for products and services you find through them. Please be careful about sharing personal details with any advertiser.

7. Stationery enquiries

The Stationery section lets you build a list and send it to us as an enquiry by email. An enquiry is not an order or a contract. Prices, availability and delivery are confirmed by us in reply, and a sale happens only when we have both confirmed it.

8. Links to other websites

We link to official portals, YouTube channels and other third-party sites. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.

9. Ownership

The design, text, code and original content of the site belong to kihikila. Names, logos and exam names that belong to other organisations (for example JEE, NEET, CUET, CBSE) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what a page is about. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed.

10. No guarantees

We try to keep the site accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or up to date.

11. Limit of our responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, kihikila is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on its content, including decisions about courses, exams, careers, money or health. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited.

12. Changes

We may update these terms and the site from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
